The Heartland International Tattoo Music and Dance Festival would like to thank its audience, sponsors, volunteers, cast and staff for a extraordinary 2009 event. It is also pleased to announce that the date for next Spring's event will be Saturday April 10, 2010. For 2010, the Heartland Tattoo at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois will again be the centerpiece of a spectacular weekend of Gaelic and Celtic culture and heritage. In addition to the Tattoo at the Sears Centre Arena on Saturday evening, in partnership with the Village of Hoffman Estates, Saturday April 10 will kick off with an International Tartan Parade. The weekend will also be a celebration of the Scottish Clan with a variety of Clan Homecoming USA events including a kickoff dinner on Friday evening, Gathering of the Clans on Saturday and a Mass on Sunday morning. The 2010 Heartland International Tattoo is produced by FunME Events of DeKalb, Illinois. The show's Executive Producer and founder is Michael Embrey, CHO. A division of the FUN Companies, FunME Events produces a varity of entertainment and travel events. It also produces music and theater festivals and workshops for more than 10,000 students each Spring and Fall.
